TOS: This Year in Serbia 13% More Tourists Than in 2022

The Tourism Organization of Serbia (TOS) announced yesterday that, in 2023, Serbia had been visited by 13% more tourists that in the same period in the previous year.

Last year, Serbia was visited by 3.8 million tourists, and 12.2 million overnight stays were realized, said the representative of TOS, Predrag Stanic, at the presentation of the results of the traffic safety campaign “Drive Well Rested – Make a Break Every Two Hours”.

Stanic said that, according to the results up till that point, 2023 was expected to be a record year in the number of tourists to visit Serbia.


According to him, of the total number of tourists, “50% are foreigners, and 50% are local tourists”, who travel to their vacations by car.

– Of the 50% foreign guests, a half comes from the region – said Stanic and added that the majority of them also came to Serbia using their vehicles.
