Balkan Spa Summit from October 10 to 12 in Belgrade

One of the biggest business expert events in the region dedicated to health tourism and new methods in prevention, treatment and rehabilitation in spas in the Balkans – Balkan Spa Summit, will be held in Belgrade from October 10 to 12.

The countries of the Balkans have a very strong shared tradition and culture of spas and special-climate places. For more than two centuries, spa doctors in the Balkans have been testing the beneficial effects of natural medical factors on the human organism, and now there is spa medicine, which they can be rightfully proud of.

On the other hand, these countries have always been politically and geographically closely connected. For centuries now, the Balkans has been one of those parts of Europe whose nations share nearly identical ethnic characteristics, from gastronomy, through music and language, to customs. The Balkans is blessed with rich natural resources and attractions, in most cases, underused.

Each nation in the Balkans believes that it lives in the most beautiful country with the richest nature and thereby makes a big mistake – we are all proud of the unused potential we have, says the announcement of this important event.

The organizer of the Balkan Spa Summit is the Association of Spas of Serbia, and the sponsor is the Government of Serbia – Ministry of Tourism and Youth. The strategic partner of this year’s Summit is the Tourism Organization of Serbia.
