Srbijagas and Greek Company Depa Sign Memorandum of Understanding

Srbijagas and the Greek company Depa signed the Memorandum of Understanding in Belgrade to the end of strengthening the cooperation and achieving the security of supply of natural gas in both countries’ markets, it is said on the website of Srbijagas.

The memorandum was signed by the CEO of Srbijagas, Dusan Bajatovic, and the CEO of Depa, Konstantinos Xifaras.

The document determines the frameworks for the future cooperation of the two companies in the field of supply, that is, sales and purchase of natural gas, the optimization of the use of transportation capacities and the possibilities of using the capacities of the LNG terminals in Greece, in terms of both the storing of natural gas and future capital investments in this field.

Before the signing of the memorandum, a work meeting of the delegations of Srbijagas and Depa was held, attended by the highest representatives of the managements of the two companies, it is added.

Depa is a company whose majority owner is the state of Greece, it is an importer of natural gas in gas and liquefied forms in the Greek gas pipeline system, including the LNG terminal. It has years of experience in the transport, distribution and sale of natural gas in gas and liquefied forms.
