EPS Publishes Tender for Services in Business and Production Processes at HPP Djerdap Worth RSD 3.76 Billion

Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) has opened the public invitation for the execution of the services in business and production processes for the needs to HPP Djerdap, worth RSD 3.76 billion.

According to the technical specification of the job, these are services on overhauling hydro power facilities and revitalizing hydro generators in the HPP Djerdap branch, as well as services of the maintenance of side facilities.

The services of the maintenance of the side facilities of the HPP Djerdap branch encompass the jobs of the maintenance of the pumping stations “Jezero” in Kladovo, “Ribnjak” in the village of Mala Vrbica, “Grabovica” in the village of Grabovica and “Ljubicevac” in the village of Ljubicevac, as well as the maintenance of the coastal areas of HPP Djerdap 1 and HPP Djerdap 2 and the pumping stations of the coastal area in Pozarevac. The maintenance of side facilities entails regular periodic control of the functional validity and the operations of the facility, devices and equipment (monitoring, processing and analyzing the operations of facilities, devices and equipment in line with the technical guidance of the Procuring Entity and the valid regulations) including the state of the anti-corrosion protection of devices, water installation facilities and equipment, as well as jobs of remote control and other jobs.

The tender also encompasses services of fire protection and river traffic for the purposes of the HPP Djerdap branch, as well as services of physical-technical security of the facilities.

The services on general, financial, legal-administration, information jobs and jobs of operational preparation for the purposes of EPS AD Beograd, Djerdap Kladovo branch, are also encompassed by the public invitation, as well as the services of preparation, delivery and servicing of hot and cold meals, drinks and the maintenance of hygiene and green areas.

Bids may be submitted by July 3, at 10 AM.

Let us remind that the Ministry of Environmental Protection recently approved the environmental impact assessment study of the project of the revitalization, modernization, increase of the power and degree of usefulness of the production generators HPP Djerdap 2, which EPS submitted last year. As said, after it is reconstructed and the flow increases, the average annual production of electrical energy is expected to increase by 165.6 GWh to 171.8 GWh, that is, the planned works on the revitalization of the HPP Djerdap 2 would lead to an increase of 11.94% compared to the existing state.
