Matija Petric of the Odnesy app says that the app shows the outlets that currently offer food, at what time we can pick it up, on which date and at which price.
– The entire development took about a year. There’s something similar abroad, so we got the idea to make it ourselves – he says.
The process entails choosing the meal we want, the outlet and then coming to the outlet and picking the meal up.
– It’s fresh food, it’s just surplus food. It’s not some other food that’s being kept, the customers can see that the outlets are giving them food from the glass display. Half the price is about the minimum, and outlets can decide themselves if they want to give a bigger discount or give the food away. There’s also a surprise package, when not even the outlet knows what they’ll have left over – Petric says.
At the moment, he says, there’s no option to donate.
