Solar Power Plant Kladovo Solar Gate with 300 MW of Power Planned on Plateau Above the Danube

The Municipality of Kladovo has been put up for early public view the Detailed Regulation Plan of the area of the solar power plant Kladovo Solar Gate.

The investor ERG Renewables doo Beograd plans the construction of a solar power plant with a total estimated power of 300 MW at the point of connection to the transfer network.

The company was founded in 2019, and the owner is ERG Investments LTD, registered in Cyprus.

The location of the future solar power plant is in the east part of the municipality, on agricultural land, on the plateau above Kladovo and the Danube valley, 5 km away from the center of the Kladovo populated area.

The preliminary area covered by the plan encompasses a surface of around 694 ha and covers parts of the cadaster municipalities of Vajuga, Kladovo, Recica, Podvrska and Kladusnica.

Along with the installation of photovoltaic panels, the plan is to install line infrastructure facilities and underground power and optic cables in the function of the planned solar power plant.

The plan was prepared by Arhiplan doo from Arandjelovac, and it is available for public view until November 1.
