The German retail chain Bauhaus has abandoned the investment plans in the Serbian market, the Retail Serbia portal learns unofficially.

As said, the German company has decided to postpone its entry to Serbia for a few years.

In the region, Bauhaus, one of the biggest European home and gardening store chains, operates in Croatia, Bulgaria and Hungary.

In Serbia, at the moment, the store chains Uradi Sam, Okov and Brico operate, whereas western European traders such as OBI, Leroy Merlin, Brico Depot and Hornbach don’t plan to expand to the Serbian market.
