Representatives of the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce assessed the economic climate in Serbia as very good and pointed out that there was an increase in the trust of German companies in Serbia, and that it was estimated that almost 95% of the companies already working in Serbia would invest again.

According to them, almost half of these companies plan to increase their investments.

At the meeting between the director of the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Alexander Markus, and the prime minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, the effect of investing in dual education, in which German companies also participate, was positively evaluated, with the remark that its more intensive promotion was necessary, because there was a constant need for educated personnel.

German companies in Serbia, as explained, employ more than 76,000 Serbian workers, and the goal is to increase the number of jobs in the coming years.

Brnabic stated that the state would continue with that model of education, which had included 10,000 students and 800 companies up to that point, and added that it was extremely important for the economy and easier employment of young people.

As she explained, more than EUR 191 million has been invested in dual education, and new investments are also planned, because it is recognized that this is a good way to get educated personnel who will be able to respond to the needs of companies in our market, the government announced.

She assessed that Germany was one of the most important economic partners and investors in the Serbian economy.

Brnabic pointed out that the goal was to increase German investments and strengthen cooperation in key areas, the driving force of the Serbian economy, the Government of Serbia announced.

At the meeting, it was concluded that the interest of German companies in investing, the favorable business climate and positive cooperation between the two countries in the field of economy opened up opportunities for further strengthening of cooperation in numerous areas.
