Bizerba Scales from Valjevo Around New Year – 300 Jobs in First Phase

(Illustration) The completion of the construction works and the beginning of the operations of new factory of the German company Bizerba in Valjevo are planned for the end of the year. Bizerba is one of the world leaders in the technology of the making products from the measuring and slicing of food and one of the leading suppliers of hardware and software solutions used in the technologies of scaling, slicing and labeling.

In the first phase, which will take two to three years, around 300 new jobs will be created at this company, announced Marina Cvijetic, the commercial director of Bizerba Valjevo, as reported on the Politika website. At the recent employment fair in Valjevo, she said that they needed workers of all profiles, from production, through warehouses, logistics, administration, operating-strategic procurement, to finance and accounting.

– We are interested in having as many citizens of Valjevo be members of our team. We will produce and deliver scales for the whole world and we welcome all interested people to come and learn about the company and submit their CVs – Cvijetic said and added that over 500 job applications had already been made by email in the preceding period.

– At the moment, three factories which will have 2,300 new jobs are being built in Valjevo. We are still working on having the number of the unemployed in Valjevo be at the level of a statistical error and for everybody to be able to find a job – stated the mayor of Valjevo, Lazar Gjokovic, at the opening of the fair.
