Main route on Corridor 10 through Grdelica gorge in mid-2012

- The main route on Corridor 10 through famous Grdelica gorge should be finished in 18 months – people at the Ministry of Infrastructure announced.

In Predejane, one of the largest local communities in the municipality of Leskovac, through which the highway goes, doubt that the deadline will be met because there are many ownership and legal issues that still need to be resolved, including the main route project itself.

President of the Leskovac City Assembly Zivojin Stefanovic hopes that the proposal for the future route, which came from the city on the Veternica river, as well as from Predejane, that is, about 20 villages situated in Grdelica gorge, will be accepted.

- The proposal given by the City Assembly of Leskovac about amendments to the preliminary project of the route of Corridor 10, that is, E-75 highway, is much more rational because it will enable 10 to 15 million euros worth of savings, while about 20 villages will not be cut off from the rest of the world! – Stefanovic concludes.
