Ministry of Trade Invites Bread Producers to Purchase Flour at Subsidized Prices

The Ministry of Trade has invited registered bread producers to purchase the T-500 type flour from the goods reserves at a subsidized price of RSD 33 per kilogram, including the VAT.

The maximum quantities of flour that bread producers can buy will be determined proportional to their production of bread made of the T-500 type flour at the highest manufacturer’s price of RSD 41.20 per loaf, in the period between June 1 and August 26, 2022, and the intended production at the manufacturer’s price of RSD 45.88 per loaf or another price, set by the government until December 1, 2022.

It is added that care will taken for the flour to be evenly distributed across the territory of Serbia.

Application lasts between August 26 and September 6.

The ministry will submit the final lists, with determined maximum quantities of flour, to the Republic Directorate for Goods Reserves.

The bread producers that end up on the lists are obliged to sign agreements on the purchase of flour with the Republic Directorate for Goods Reserves, defining in detail everything that’s important for the realization of the job.

According to the invitation, producers can apply at the ministry by sending a filled-out and scanned application form, which can be downloaded here, at [email protected].

After the payment is made, the bread producers will receive a written order for picking up T-500 wheat flour, which will be available at mills, which will do the milling for the needs of the Republic Directorate for Goods Reserves.
