REM Opens Public Contest for Fifth Frequency

The Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media (REM) has opened the public contest for issuing one permit for broadcasting TV program on the territory of the whole Serbia, three permits for broadcasting from the Avala allotment and 12 permits for radio broadcasting in the territory of the city of Belgrade.

According to the REM website, “the Council of REM, at the session held on July 29, 2022, adopted the decision on the opening of the Public Contest for issuing permits for the provision of the media service of television broadcasting through terrestrial digital transfer for the territory of the entire Republic of Serbia”.

– Also, the Council of REM adopted, at the same session, the decision on the opening of the Public Contest for the issuing of permits for the provision of the media service of television broadcasting through terrestrial analog transfer in the area of the region of the City of Belgrade – as announced on the website of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media.


Let us remind that the Council of REM allocated national frequencies to the TV stations Pink, Prva, Happy and B92.

Radio national frequencies were allocated to Hit Music FM, Radio S, Radio S2 and Play Radio.
