Orsay to Leave Serbian Market After 10 Years – Stores Closed at Shopping Centers

At the shopping centers where the fashion store chain Orsay used to be present, the stores have been shut down and “the curtain has been closed”.

This brand had a total of 13 stores in Serbia, as confirmed for Telegraf Biznis. The company is leaving this market in which it has operated for around ten years.

The famous brand will close all its outlets throughout Europe as well in the next few days. It has terminated lease agreements for 197 subsidiaries. The decision to close that many stores came as a surprise, since the closing of around 79 facilities had been mentioned before.

Still, in the end, it was decided for all Orsay outlets to close in late June. The rough estimate is that around 1,500 employees will lose their jobs.

It is not yet known who will take over the stores of this fashion brand.
