The City of Belgrade presented to the EU Delegation to Serbia 30 projects for which it seeks support at a meeting held by Goran Vesic, the deputy mayor of Belgrade, with Sakis Hoduras, the member of the European Commission Delegation to Belgrade in charge of infrastructure.

These are the reconstruction of Pionirski Grad, Linear Park, reconstruction of the City Museum, the second phase of the factory for the processing of waste waters in Veliko Selo, the factory for the processing of waste waters in Batajnica, the sports complex in Juzni Blvd, pedestrian-cycling bridges (Ada Ciganlija-New Belgrade and Zemun-Lido), the Home for the Elderly, three new bicycle paths…

Vesic said at the meeting that the City of Belgrade expected a stronger support of the European Union in the next period, so that the city would develop even faster.

– We are an old European city and our country is negotiating about a full EU membership. We are grateful to the Union for each euro it invests in Belgrade and we hope that the support will be even stronger. That is why we officially applied the projects today – said Vesic, as reported by Beoinfo.
