Podgorica-Zurich Line for Most Successful Tourism Season Possible

The flights from Podgorica to Zurich, which became available on April 8 through the national airline carrier Air Montenegro, should contribute to an increase in the number of tourists from that market and make the upcoming tourism season successful.

On that date, Air Montenegro realized its first flight from Podgorica to Zurich, and, upon the landing at the airport, the ribbon was cut by the acting director of Air Montenegro, Dragana Frantov Nikolic, and the vice president for aviation development at the Zurich Airport, Rolf Hancock.

– In April and May, Air Montenegro plans to have the flights twice a week – Fridays and Sundays, and as the season progresses, we will introduce a third flight as well, on Wednesdays – Frantov Nikolic specified.

She said that they were looking forward to the great interest of passengers and that they hoped that was an announcement of a successful summer season.

An associate of Air Montenegro, Violeta Mitrovic, she said that the direct Zurich-Podgorica line was of great importance, as well as Frankfurt-Podgorica, which will be introduced on May 1.

– I believe that this connects the two states and that there will be plenty of tourists who will visit Montenegro – Mitrovic said.
