Serbia to Get First Indoor Aqua Park – Luxury Resort Harmonija on Kopaonik to Have 5-Star Hotel, Villas in a Row and Own Amphitheater (PHOTO)

In a weekend vacation settlement around 6 kilometers from the center of Kopaonik and 3 kilometers from the Suncana Dolina ski track, the luxury resort Harmonija is being raised at the moment.

According to Aleksandar Vujanac, the owner of the company Harmonija Resort doo from Raska, which is the investor in this project, the resort, whose completion is expected in late 2023, will have two hotels, villas in a row, underground garages, a unique indoor aqua park and its own indoor amphitheater.

– Harmonia Palace, a luxury hotel with 5 stars and 149 accommodation units and a full-board, panoramic a la carte restaurant, is currently being built. The construction of the first, larger part of this hotel started last spring, and the construction of the second part, the B block of this hotel, is to begin by this summer. Before that, we built Hotel Harmonija with 4 stars, with a spa center and a restaurant which is also featured within the resort – Vujanac says for eKapija.

He adds that the first Harmonija hotel has 68 apartments, and around 50 more will be available to visitors within the five villas in a row, which are currently being designed and beneath which there will be a two-level garage with 120 parking spaces.

– A special curiosity of the resort will be the Concordia theater with 600 seats near the villas, which is currently being designed and whose construction is to begin this year, and it is designed as an indoor amphitheater for the organization of theater performances, music events, but also congresses – says the owner of the company, which has also founded the TV series and film festival Zlatna Omorika in recent years.

The main attraction of the entire Harmonija resort will certainly be Harmoland, the first indoor aqua park in Serbia, which will spread on 1,388 m2 of an indoor space and be able to take in up to 400 people.

Harmoland will have two pools, a children’s zone, 4 outdoor and indoor water slides and water attractions such as a fast river and waterfalls.

The project for the aqua park, according to Vujanac, was prepared by the company Bibis from Belgrade, whereas the remaining part of the Harmonija resort was designed by Arch VIEW from Lazarevac, lead by the architect Dragan Jakovljevic as the responsible designer.

Our interviewee points out that the Harmonija resort is his company’s first project and that, until it is finished, he can’t plan similar projects in the future.
