Swiss Stadler Interested in Partnership with Company MIND in Kragujevac

The company Stadler sees the possibility of a partnership with the company MIND in Kragujevac, primarily on the production of components, but also complete trains, stated Peter Spuhler, the owner of the Swiss company in Kragujevac, as announced on the city’s website.

– At the MIND Park, there are excellent possibilities, primarily for the production of train components, but also for complete trains – Spuhler said.

He added that he was looking forward to the potential cooperation and pointed out that it had been agreed for a team to be formed which would work on the development of that project.

– I am sure that Stadler will eventually find a secure partner here, and perhaps also start its own production at the MIND Park. In the last week of January, we signed an agreement with Skoda Electric, which is also coming to Kragujevac and, here, we will produce traction motors which are installed in rail vehicle drives – said Darko Djoric, the CEO of MIND Group.

At the moment, there are over 2,000 people working at the MIND Park, and the plan is for the number to reach 2,500 by the end of the year.
