Zastava’s M77 Rifle Pronounced Best at Largest International Arms Show in America

Zastava’s M77 rifle was pronounced the best weapon at the largest world fair of sports weapons held in America, and M07 placed in the top 5.

A wide range of sports and hunting weapons produced by Zasta Oruzje was showcased at the “Shot Show” fair, which was held in Las Vegas from January 18 to 21, 2022.

Director Mladen Petkovic pointed out that the Kragujevac-based factory had drawn a lot of interest with its program of sports arms at this prestigious event and that it had managed to positions itself as a leading company in this field following its return to the demanding American market.

– Last year, we signed the biggest agreement yet, perhaps one of the biggest agreements in the entire arms industry, worth USD 234 million, on the export of hunting and sports arms to the American market, which is an excellent business result. Having Zastava’s rifle pronounced the best weapon at the show once again confirms the quality of our arms – Petkovic underlined.

In the past three years, Zastava Oruzje has recorded a continuous growth.

– The realization of the plan in 2020, compared to 2019, was 6.63% higher, whereas, in 2021, compared to 2020, it was 28% higher. This year, we will continue working at full capacity. I believe that showcasing at a fair such as this one will contribute to the development of sales and the securing of new exporting contracts, which is good for the factory’s operations, the economy, but also the entire Serbian arms industry – Petkovic emphasized.
