TOS CEO Gordana Plamenac appointed as Vice President of European Travel Commission

Gordana Plamenac, the CEO of the Tourism Organization of Serbia (TOS), has been appointed as the Vice President of the European Travel Commission (ETC), TOS announced today.

According to the announcement, Gordana Plamenac was appointed as one of the three vice-presidents of the ETC at the General Assembly of that commission, which was held in Gent, in Belgium, on October 8.

The European Travel Commission is an international organization with the headquarters in Brussels and it is engaged in the promotion of Europe as a unique product in the overseas markets.

That commission is composed of 39 national tourism organizations, its CEO is from Germany, while other two vice-presidents are from Belgium and Switzerland.

The Tourism Organization of Serbia officially became a member of the European Travel Commission on September 3, 2006, on Malta.

The TOS' membership in the ETC opens a possibility for better marketing promotion, not only in Europe, but also on other continents.
