Ministry of Environmental Protection to Procure System for Environmental Inspection and Reporting of Pollution

The Ministry of Environmental Protection has opened the tender for implementing a system for environmental inspection, analysis and pollution control.

According to the technical specification of the tender, this is an information system that is meant for collecting information on environmental problems, polluters, landfills, recording and monitoring the activities of the services for the securing of hazardous waste, the recycling of waste, as well as recording and monitoring the activities of the services for the addressing and removal of environmental problems.

At the same time, it will also be used for a two-way communication with citizens to the end of informing about the realization of the environmental protection project, the solving of environmental problems and the raising of awareness of ecology.

Among other things, the environmental information system will feature a software app for mobile phones that the citizens can use to get information or report certain local ecological problems. Said application should be uploaded and be available for free at Google Play and App Store.

The tender lasts until September 21.
