Montenegro Records 90,000 Tourists, Nearly 80% More Compared to 2019

According to the data of the National Tourism Organization, there are currently 90,000 tourists in Montenegro, as announced by the minister of economic development, Jakov Milatovic.

As he pointed out, this is eight times more than in the same period last year, and nearly 80% more compared to the same period of 2019.

– In Herceg Novi and Ulcinj, there are up to 10 times more tourists than in the same period of 2020 – Milatovic tweeted.

He added that, compared to the same period in 2019, there were 94% more tourists in Kotor, 90% in Tivat, 82% in Ulcinj, 80% in Herceg Novi, 76% in Budva and 58% in Bar.


– In Kolasin, we have recorded as much as 30% more guests than in the same period of 2019, and Zabljak is at the level of 65%. This is an additional stimulus and an indication of the success of the activities of this government – Milatovic pointed out.
