Orion started providing fixed telephony services - number costs RSD 7,000, monthly subscription fee of RSD 599 includes 100 minutes of free calls

Orion Telekom, the second fixed telephony operator in Serbia announced today (June 21, 2010) that it had started providing services of fixed telephony in Belgrade on June 17 and that few hundred contracts had already been signed with the interested users.

- In only two working days, few thousand interested users contacted the company, while few hundred contracts have already been signed, which clearly speaks of the interest of our fellow citizens in this service, especially the people who live in the city parts where there have not been technical capacities for them to get the fixed telephone number before - it is stated in the announcement.

The basic subscription fee is RSD 599, exclusive of VAT, and it includes 100 minutes of free local calls and unlimited use of Internet at 64 kbps. Activation of the fixed telephony service costs RSD 7,000, exclusive of VAT, and the price includes a telephone router and a telephone.

Local calls within the network group are charged RSD 0.4 per minute, the price of intercity calls is RSD 2 per minute, while international calls cost RSD 3.9 per minute. The price of call to all mobile networks will amount to RSD 9 per minute.
