In addition to making a business and marketing plan and connecting with clients and users, business operations also entail taking care of occupational health and safety. In the era of digitalization, it no longer concerns just protective equipment, but also tools that will help us protect data.
It is clear that the safety of our business operations reflects on the safety of our clients, associates, employees and, finally, ourselves. For this reason, we have to make sure that the space we spend our time in is protected from unforeseen circumstances, especially when it comes to fire, that everything is recorded by cameras and that we are informed of any unwanted intrusion by an alarm. Our employees need to be provided with protective equipment, if the field demands it.
On the other hand, there are increasingly more companies which base their business on modern technologies. For them, data is one of the greatest assets and they need to be protected. The importance of this is shown by frequent incidents related to cyber crime, but also frauds, the so-called phishing, which cyber attacks usually start with.
The extent to which digitalization has penetrated business is also proven by the Draft Law on Digital Property, which considers this important sphere, meant for those interested in the blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies, but also those who are launching startups or looking to invest in them. The question of security is an integral part of this.
The coronavirus pandemic that we are witnessing has put forward safety as the primary issue, above all personal safety, because it has put the individual, on which the safety of others depends, into focus. It has thereby caused us to consider how safe we are at our work places, but also how to best protect our business.
We are therefore presenting a special edition newsletter which deals with two main issues – where the vulnerable spots of today`s business are and how to make business safe and secure.
