Serb from Switzerland to buy spa resort Bujanovačka Banja?

Special hospital for rehabilitation in spa resort Bujanovačka Banja is on the good way to find a new partner who will offer the best terms in the privatization procedure.

The Director of the hospital, Dr. Slobodan Jovanović, said that the did not want to reveal all the details except that the contacts had been made and that the talks had been led with Dragan Stanojković who worked and had company in Switzerland.

- After the talks, during which we agreed on everything, Stanojković officially informed the Privatization Agency on his intentions and got the response that he was included in the list of candidates for purchase of the share of capital that would be privatized - said Jovanović.

He also says that Stanojković is willing to invest the funds in development and equipping of the capacities of Bujanovačka Banja, which will be big enough to provide "European prospects" for this spa resort.

Bujanovačka Banja is the only spa resort in Serbia that offers three natural factors for treatment: medicinal thermal water, peloid – medicinal mud of volcanic origin, and gas carbon dioxide of excellent purity of 98%.

- These components, which no other spa resort in Serbia has, drew the attention of our new partner who says that that form of health services and the capacity of over 200 beds may be very interesting to the clients not only from Switzerland, but also from other countries as well - Jovanović explained.

Turker Group from Turkey expressed interest in acquisition of Bujanovačka Banja in late 2009, but it gave up the procurement after frequent protests of the Serbs from Bujanovac.
