Univerexport Foundation Supports New Pupils This Year As Well – Gift Packages for 8,000 First Graders

The tradition of the Univerexport Foundation handing out gift packages to first graders continues this year. On the first day of school, 8,000 new pupils got gifts. For the fifth year in a row, Univerexport hands out gift packages to children who are starting school, and this year it was children from Novi Sad, Subotica, Kikinda, Kula, Vrbas, Vrsac and parts of Belgrade.

On the first day of school, the pupils were given vouchers for gifts that can be picked up at the nearest Univerexport outlet. The gifts contain everything they need for the classes, but also some treats for the recess.

– This is a record number of gifts and the towns and municipalities covered by this activity. Our role is to make the first graders happy and the reason is that we have been operating in this market for 30 years. This is where we were formed, this is where we developed and each local community we operate in is in fact an integral part of our system and vice versa, and mutual giving is a requirement for longevity. This activity is an investment in the future, as we like to say, in our children – the best we have.

The partners of the Univerexport Foundation which have recognized its activities and supported the foundation, whose donations are mostly directed at children, are: Bambi, Coca-Cola, Cipiripi, Chips Way, Generali, Jaffa, Konlid d.o.o, Marbo, Mix Trade, Mioni d.o.o, Nestle, Nelt, Rauch, Swislion, Sunbar, Voda Voda, Veletabak.

The Univerexport Foundation was founded in 2017 by Univerexport, the largest local store chain. Since then, it has been initiating and realizing projects of local and wider national importance. The project “Education=Useful Knowledge”, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, the free handball camp “Bogdan Rodic” for the most talented children, the project titled “Prati me po dobru” in cooperation with NURDOR, the “Djaci prvaci” project, are only some of the projects that the foundation has realized so far, and their campaigns will continue.
