Traffic Route C39 to Enable Access to Business Zone in New Belgrade by Highway

The construction of the C39 traffic route in the Business Zone “Auto-put” in New Belgrade is in progress, and this will enable access to the business and commercial features in this part of the business zone.

According to the deputy mayor of Belgrade, Goran Vesic, the construction of this street is very significant, because it will enable access to the Business Zone by highway:

– This route is 605 meters long and 21 meters wide, and a full rainwater and sanitary sewage system will be installed beneath it. Furthermore, 80 trees will be planted, there will also be around 44 ares of grass areas and 18 public lighting poles. The construction of the traffic route with the accompanying infrastructure will mark the equipping of a part of the business zone where several investors have already bought land at auctions organized by the City of Belgrade and realized by the Belgrade Land Development Public Agency. This will in turn establish conditions for the raising of business facilities where several hundred people will be employed.

He announced that the S40 traffic route would be built in the future, enabling access to other locations planned for sale, and then also a street leading to Veletrznica. This will mark the full equipping of the area with traffic routes and infrastructure, because the flee market is to be moved there eventually, Beoinfo reports.

– At the moment, the most important thing for Belgrade is for various zones in the outer city areas to be “harnessed” so that factories would be built, leading to new jobs. It is not realistic for factories to be built in the city center, so the realization of such project enables us to attract investments which measure in hundreds of millions of euros – Vesic emphasized.
