Stublina's owner won "Blic Entrepreneur of Year 2009" award
The owner of Stojnik-based locks and fetter set production company Stublina, Radovan Milojević, was declared today as the best entrepreneur in Serbia within the scope of the "Blic Entrepreneurs of Year 2009" campaign of daily newspaper Blic and Banca Intesa.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia and Minister of Economy, Mlađan Dinkić, announced on that occasion that five shortlisted entrepreneurs for the award can count on the favorable loans of the Development Fund if they needeed money to expand their businesses.
- Entrepreneurs are brave people with energy and goal - said Dinkić and added that successful entrepreneurs required support. Instead of Radovan Milojević who was on a business trip, the winner's spouse and Stublina's Commercial and Finance Director, Verica Milojević, received the prize of 30,000 EUR for investments in development of business. She said that they intended to keep expanding the business and employing new workers.
The Deputy President of Banca Intesa's Executive Board, Giancarlo Miranda, said that the jury had decided to give the prize of 5,000 EUR to the second-ranked entrepreneur, Mitar Obradović, the owner of Loznica-based confectionery factory Nelly.
The other shortlisted entrepreneurs for this year's award for the best entrepreneur in the category of small and mid-sized enterprises in Serbia are the owner of Wine cellar Radovanović, Miodrag Radovanović, the owner of Div Trade from Čelarevo, Zoran Knežević, and the co-owner of software company PSteh, Branka Radovanović.
The "Blic Entrepreneur of the Year" award is granted for the third year in a row in the competition of 500 successful SME in Serbia. The expert jury selected the best entrepreneurs according to the following criteria: profitability, productivity and liquidity, export results, number of workers and new employees in 2009, product portfolio and innovations.
