Consumers in Serbia have once again selected the best domestic products and brands. Based on their votes, the companies whose products have been marked as favorite will win the “Moj izbor 2020” awards.

The “Moj izbor” campaign is organized for the tenth time by the Moja Srbija association with the aim of inciting the development of domestic production and improving the quality of goods and services in Serbia.

The title of the Favorite Domestic Product belongs to Plazma Keks by Bambi, whereas this year's Favorite Producer in Serbia is Dijamant.

Gold plaques for ten-year leadership in all categories go to: Zlatiborac, in the Meat and Meat Products category, Dijamant in the Oil, Condiments and Garnishes category, Zacin C in the Soups, Flour and Food Supplements category and Plazma Keks as the favorite dessert.

The most votes in their categories and the Moj izbor award were also won by: Moja Kravica in the Milk and Dairy Products category, Knjaz Milos in the Mineral Waters category, Post of Serbia in the Transport category, Dunav Osiguranje in the Insurance Companies category. Zdrepceva Krv in the Wine category, Frikom in the Fruit and Vegetables category, Merix in the Cosmetics and Hygiene Products category and Forma Ideale as the favorite brand among online users.

Traditionally, this year's campaign was supported by the City of Belgrade.

The “Moj izbor” awards are unique for being handed out exclusively based on consumer votes. The main requirement is for the product to be of domestic origin, regardless of the ownership structure of the company which produces it. In exceptional cases, foreign products and brands can be nominated, if their companies' operations feature substantial investments in Serbia, a high degree of corporate responsibility and similar factors.

This year, around 1,000 domestic products and brands were nominated in 27 categories. The voting was organized in two rounds. Online users voted in the first round, and the brands which received the most votes proceeded to the final, where they competed in each category against the five best ranking brands from the previous campaigns. The final voting was organized in the field, using the “face to face” method. A total of 2,010 consumers voted in ten cities of Serbia.

In its ten years, the “Moj izbor” award has been handed out to 43 companies with 47 brands.

The date of the official award ceremony, which will be organized at the City Assembly of Belgrade, will be announced subsequently, due to the situation in the country.
