Sloveninas start constructing the section of the highway Kolasin-Matesevo on the north of Montenegro

Direction for building highways of the Government of Montenegro and Primorje Ajdovcina have signed a contract about reconstruction of the road Kolasin-Metesevo. The deal is worth 7.8 milions of euros and will be done in 4 months.

This section will be among the first to be realized, because it already has the necessary technical documentation. Primorje has been present on the market of Montenegro already for 4 years, as it has built bridges Union bridge and Millenium in Podgorica, and the annual turnover of the company is around 400 milions of euros. This is a new challenge, because a tunnel of 280 meters of longituted is forecasted, which shortens the route for 1.8 kilometeres, as well as the bridge on the middle of the route.

In the spring of 2006 will be announced a new tender for conductor of works for the route Matesevo-verusa, and afterwords is planned the section to Podgorica, for which the documentation will be prepared by the end of 2005. The section Kolasin-Verusa will be build for 3 years, and the entire investment will be 150 milions of euros.
