EUR 5 million to be invested in modernization of Valjevska Pivara – Brauerei Group plans market expansion

Valjevska Pivara has been sold for over EUR 3.5 million to Belgrade-based Brauerei Group, and Miloje Blizanjac, one of the founders of the group, announced that EUR 5 million would be invested in the modernization of this company in the next two years.

– We will continue producing beer. We will invest EUR 5 million in modernization in the next two years. The brewery now has the market around Ub, Valjevo, Bajina Basta, Loznica and Sabac, and the plan is for our market to expand to a larger part of Serbia – Blizanjac told Tanjug.


Valjevska Pivara is the oldest company in Valjevo and currently has around 200 employees.

Brauerei Group was founded in 2018 by Zivojin Jovanovic and Miloje Blizanjac from Trlic near Ub and Zoran Kostic from Brzece near Bris. Jovanovic is also at the head of the Trlic Farming Cooperative, whereas Kostic is the head of the Brzece-based company Brzmin.
