First sale of Gosa advertised for RSD 335 million

The bankruptcy supervisor has advertised the sale of Fabrika Sinskih Vozila Gosa Smederevska Palanka today. The former train manufacturing giant is sold as a legal entity through public bidding, and the initial price is RSD 335,091,707.

The initial price is certainly far below the total claims toward Gosa, which amount to more than RSD 3 billion, the bankruptcy supervisor, Aca Mitic, says for our portal. He adds that he is not sure if all first-grade creditors can be paid from the proceeds, as several disputes are ongoing.

The most important property consists of buildings in Smederevska Palanka, the most important of which are the train car facility of 22,493 m2, its extension of 2,498 m2 and the carpentry workshop of 2,335 m2, painting and coating facilities and other facilities. The offer also includes equipment, stocks, spare parts, unfinished products, finished products, tools and inventory.

The purchaser will also get Gosa's shares, licenses and patents.

The sales documentation costs RSD 100,000 and the deposit is RSD 134,036,683.

The sale is scheduled for December 21, 2018, at noon, in Smederevska Palanka.
