In the upcoming period, Mlekara Sabac will get a new production facility, with a raw milk processing capacity of 250,000 liters, and as eKapija learns at the company, the construction might start in 2019.

This investment is worth over EUR 5 million, and Mlekara Sabac has filed a request for approval of the environmental impact study.

As they explained to us, “the investment will be realized once all the technical and legal-formal conditions have met, and we hope that this will take place as soon as next year”.

As they point out, this is a continuation of the development and upgrade of their operations.

– Last year alone, close to EUR 2 million was invested in the new PET packaging facility and the cooling facility. This type of investment allows us to upgrade and further develop our range of recognizable, top-quality dairy products, such as A La Kajmak, Sirko, Mediteraneo, ABT yoghurts, Poppy chocolate milk... – Mlekara Sabac told eKapija.

As they add, the plan is to present several new products by the end of the year, but they don't want to discuss the details at the moment.

Mlekara Sabac has existed for more than 70 years and has been owned by M.I. Finance since 2016.
