Owners of N1 buy Pink B&H and Pink Montenegro?

The American KKR Group has bought Pink B&H and Pink Montenegro from Zeljko Mitrovic, Danas learns.

This is the reason why Mitrovic has scheduled a meeting with the regional directors of his regional TV channels for Tuesday, April 24.

The news about the meeting has been published on the Pink website and it also says that Mitrovic is to announce important business decisions at the meeting.

– Mitrovic has called the meeting so as to announce to all managements the important decisions he has made regarding the future of all TV channels with the Pink prefix in Serbia and the region – it is said on the Pink website.

Negotiations with KKR representatives went on for a long period of time and they ended prior to April 17, when KKR representatives met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

In Serbia, KKR Group owns TV N1 and cable operator SBB.

As Danas learns, Zeljko Mitrovic has refused to sell the entire company, including Air Pink, for around EUR 500 million. Their findings have been confirmed by Zeljko Mitrovic. Of the 60 channels he owns, only Pink B&H and Pink Montenegro were sold, which, according to him, make up only 5% of the total income and are not compatible with the company's further development.
