The company Aptiv Packard is completing a plant for electrical installations for the automotive industry in Leskovac, and over 2,000 workers should be employed at this facility. This year alone, they will employ around 280 people of Leskovac, as reported by the local portal Jugmedia.

– By mid-2018, as announced, the factory will be completed, and our estimate is that around 280 workers will be employed by the end of the year. In the next years, the production will be increasing in line with the orders, and the employment plan will therefore be fulfilled – the company’s representatives say.

Several people of Leskovac, they add, have already been employed at Aptiv Packard, which opened a job contest earlier.

They are being trained in Novi Sad, Romania and Poland, where the corporation within which Aptiv Packard will operate owns factories.
