(From the meeting at the Ministry of Economy) State Secretary at the Ministry of Economy, Dragan Stevanovic, talked with the members of the technical mission of the International Monetary Fund, headed by Taz Chaponda, about infrastructural projects and the operations of public enterprises in Serbia on Wednesday, April 4, 2018.

As the ministry announced, Stevanovic introduced Chaponda to the projects within the competence of the Ministry of Economy which stimulate development and enhance the local and the regional infrastructure.

Also, Stevanovic mentioned the results of public enterprises founded by the state and pointed out that those enterprises had operated with losses of around EUR 500 million in 2014, whereas they had been realizing a net profit in the past years.

Stevanovic said that the governments since 2013 had done everything to present Serbia to the world as a responsible and regulated state.

– The state is ready to hear all the recommendations that might help us make a progress – Stevanovic said.
