The agreement on the concession of the Nikola Tesla Airport will be made publicly available after the financial part of the agreement is fully closed, which should take place in September, says Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic.

– It is only when the agreement is closed financially that it will be possible to publish the agreement in full, but elements of this agreement will be registered at the public agreement register before that, which should happen on April 21, 2018 – Brnabic said.

She also said that “a concession tender such as Serbia has never seen, in terms of transparency, has been made. The French Vinci, the best company in this sector in the world, has been selected, and will invest EUR 1,461 billion”.

Brnabic added that EUR 501 million from the arrangement would be paid to the state budget in September.

She also said that the state was not selling the airport and that, instead, it had “brought over a top quality company to run it” and added that the airport would be returned to the state and its citizens after 25 years.
