France-Balkans 2018 business forum to be held from May 30 till June 1 in Belgrade

A three-day business forum France-Balkans 2018, which will bring together more than 250 participants from France and the 12 countries of the Western Balkans, will be held in Belgrade from May 30 till June1. The forum aims to present the potential for investments in the Balkans to companies and businessmen from France and the countries of the region and enable them to find partners, as well as to stimulate trade between the participating countries, the organizers announced.

The forum is organized by Business France, the French government's agency for development and investments, the French-Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the French Foreign Trade Advisors, with the support of the French embassy in Belgrade. In addition to Serbia and France, the forum will also feature Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Albania, Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia.

During the three days of the business forum, which will be held at Hotel Metropol Belgrade, B2B meetings will be organized for interested companies, which will be able to to schedule meetings for free through an online platform. Serbian companies may take part in these meetings for free.

Furthermore, topical and sectoral round tables will be held, where the possibilities and challenges of doing business in the Balkans will be discussed, and successful examples of companies from certain sectors will be cited.

The Village Expert trade will be organized within the forum, in which interested companies and other business organizations will be able to present their offers. Furthermore, the organizers announce a Gala Evening, to take place on the second date of the forum.

In addition to high officials, representatives of international financial institutions, chambers of commerce and business associations, business people and other participants are expected to attend the forum. The french company Veolia, which operates in Serbia, will be one of the sponsors of the forum.
