Amendments to Law on Biocide Products by the end of 2018

Amendments to the Law on Biocide Products might be adopted by the end of the current year, Minister of Environmental Protection Goran Trivan said on Friday, March 2, 2018.

At the closing conference of the twinning project of improving the system of management of chemicals and biocides in Serbia, he pointed out that Serbia was dedicated to improving and preserving the environment and that the European Union was an important partner to it in the process.

(From the final conference of the twinning project) The project is worth a million euros and is financed from the Instruments for Pre-accession Assistance, Trivan said and emphasized that Slovenia and Austria had been Serbia's partners.

Over the course of the project, which took place between September 2015 and March 2018, the EU provided help for Serbia for a further improvement of the system of management of chemicals and biocide products.
