Qatar provides free tourist visas for Serbian citizens

Citizens of the Republic of Serbia are now able to visit Qatar with a free tourist visa available at the airport, the Aviatica portal reports.

On December 28, 2017, using the reciprocal measure, the Ministry of Interior of Qatar adopted the decision allowing citizens of the Republic of Serbia with regular passports to enter Qatar with tourist visas alone, which will be issued for free, immediately following the arrival at the Doha airport.

These visas will be valid over a period of 180 days from the issuing date, and the staying period may not be longer than 90 days, successive or accumulative.

Thanks to this decision, the citizens of Serbia using the services of Qatar Airways for flights through Doha may stay in the city in between flights, on their way to the final destination.

The decision is expected to contribute to an increase of direct flights between Serbia and Qatar, as Serbian citizens will now be able to travel to Qatar as the final destination without additional costs and complicated visa procedures.

Belgrade and Doha are linked through daily direct flights operated by Qatar Airways.
