- Serbia has climbed the global competitiveness list this year from the 91st to the 85th place - said the Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia, Božidar Đelić.

- Serbia's aim is to enter the top 70 on that list prior to year 2011 - said Đelić before the meeting of the National Competition Council of Serbia, which he presides.

He said that the competitiveness list, which is published by the World Economy Forum, included 134 countries and that the most competitive countries were the ones that attracted the biggest investments and had the lowest unemployment rate.
