Concern "Swisslion Takovo" bought 70% of capital of company "Eco organic life" from Surčin

According to Belgrade's daily newspaper "Biznis", "Swisslion Takovo" concern has bought 70% of capital of company "Eco organic life" from Surčin.

The owners of these companies did not want to specify the value of that deal, saying that that was a business secret, and the owner of company "Swisslion Takovo", Rodoljub Drašković, said that it was the amount "of few million euros".

When asked why he decided for "Eco organic life", Drašković pointed out that that was the logical step towards business expansion of "Swisslion".

- "Eco organic life" is the largest manufacturer of eggs in the country and eggs are one of "Swisslion's" main raw materials. That company also deals with processing of eggs, which is of exceptional importance since powder eggs are also among our high-priority raw materials - said Drašković.

According to his words, it is very important that "Eco organic life" owns large annual quantities of egg-laying hens and poultry slaughterhouse.

He also announced new investments in "Eco organic life", such as the automated production of powder eggs and the system for collecting, selection, marking and checking of eggs.

"Eco organic life", former "Krmivo produkt", owns fodder factory in Surčin whose capacity is 20 tons of fodder per hour.

This company also owns four egg-laying hen farms: in Kosančić near Leskovac, with the capacity of 200,000 hens, in Inđija, with the capacity of 100,000 hens, in Surčin, with the capacity of 300,000 hens, and in Kruščić near Crvenka, with the capacity of 150,000 hens, as well as empty pig farm in Surčin.
