"Beohemija-Inhem" bought Slovenian company "Šampionka" - acquisition worth 6m EUR

Company "Beohemija-Inhem" has bought company "Šampionka" from Slovenia and become the 100%-owner of this famous manufacturer of chemical products for households. The value of acquisition is 6m EUR and "Beohemija-Inhem" will invest about 10m EUR in production unit, infrastructure, employment and improvement of operations of company from Renča prior to year 2011.

The leader on the local market of powder detergents, "Beohemija-Inhem", with famous brand DUEL and recognizable scents Duel Đurđevak and Duel Jorgovan, is among the first local companies in this branch that managed to expand its operations to the market of European Union.

"Beohemija-Inhem" exports products to the markets of southeast Europe and, thanks to this acquisition in Slovenia, the products of "Beohemija-Inhem" will be exported to the markets of Italy, Austria and Hungary.

"Šampionka" from Renča is one of the largest manufacturers and distributors in Slovenian market in field of cleaning products and products for personal care. The company with long and rich tradition is famous for its brands: Varikina - which achieved great success on the territory of former Yugoslav republics, Stelex - a glass cleaning product, and product portfolio Trim.

The products of "Šampionka" from Renča will soon appear in Serbian stores. "Šampionka" currently has 82 employees and about 100 experts of various profiles should be hired in the following period.
