The consortium of sellers of shares of Gorenjska Banka, headed by the Sava financial holding, received the bids for the sale of 55% of the Slovenian bank’s shares.

Sava, whose financial restructuring plan is based on the sale of the ownership share in Gorenjska, has not commented on this, whereas media unofficially learn that both bids are below the required minimum of EUR 298 per share.

As Delo reports, the American fund Apollo, which manages NKB Maribor, Postna Banka and the former Raiffeisen branch in Slovenia, offers EUR 230 per share, whereas AIK Bank’s offer is EUR 280 per share. According to the newspaper, the consortium is not satisfied with the bids and has asked the bidders to improve their offers, Wisebroker reports.
