Banca Intesa in Serbia declared the best bank in Southeast Europe in 2008 - Draginja Đurić as the best banker

- The London finance magazine "Finance Central Europe" has declared Banca Intesa the best bank in Serbia and the best mid-sized bank in Southeast Europe in 2008 - the bank announced today (June 30, 2008).
President of the Executive Board of Banca Intesa, Draginja Đurić, has been declared the banker of the year.
The magazine ranks the banks on the basis of analysis of annual results.
The research includes Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Greece, Croatia, Macedonia, Moldova, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia and Turkey.
Banca Intesa increased the amount of approved loans and investments in 2007 by 46%, to 1.3 billion EUR. That bank has the balance sum in amount of 2.6 billion EUR, which is 12.47% of total balance sum of the banks in Serbia.
Banca Intesa has 7,329 branch offices in 35 countries and over 18m clients.
