Serbian Credit Bureau (SKB) has successfully introduced integrated standards for quality management
and information security management - ISO 9001 and ISO 27001:2005.
SKB became the first certified financial institution in Serbia
and in the region in field of security of transfer and keeping of data
and one of the six institutions in Serbia that introduced aforementioned
standard, which officially confirmed high level of quality and security guaranteed
to the clients of that company.
Information protection and security are considered preconditions for success in modern world of business, and aforementioned certificate represents the prestigious standard on financial markets of developed countries and the guarantee of reliability that is requested from the actors on these markets.
Standard ISO 27001 covers three important aspects of operations of credit bureaus - availability, integrity and information security.
- Its application guarantees that all information we mutually exchange are absolutely protected and that there are no risks that some of these information can be abused. Since we are the first finance institution on local market with this certificate, we believe that other participants will follow our example and their clients and partners will, definitely, have the greatest benefit and profit from that - said Jovanka Kavran, the CEO of SKB.
