Philip Zepter richest Serbian citizen with USD 5 billion – Forbes ranks wealthiest people in the region

Philip Zepter, alias Milan Jankovic, whose wealth is estimated at USD 5 billion, according to Forbes 2016 world billionaire list, is the richest man in Serbia. Zepter is founder of the company Zepter International.

Among the richest people in Serbia is also Miodrag Kostic, owner of MK Group, with USD 540 million, whereas Miroslav Miskovic has USD 520 million at his disposal.

The richest among the citizens of Slovenia are Iza and Samo Login, the couple who has acquired an enormous wealth from the Talking Tom Cat app. Their wealth is estimated at USD 700 million, and they are followed by Joc Pececnik, owner of Interblock, with USD 266 million.

In Croatia, the Croatian-Chilean family Luksic is the wealthiest, with the net value of USD 15 billion, followed by the Austro-Croatian billionaire Dietrich Mateschitz, owner of Red Bull, with USD 10.8 billion.

Behind them are Ivica Todoric, owner of Agrokor, with USD 499 million, and Emil Tedeschi, owner of Atlatic Group, whose net wealth amounts to USD 208 million.

As for Macedonia, Forbes says that Jordan Kamcev, owner of Orka Holding, is at the top with USD 238 million, followed by Minco Jordanov, owner of Makstil, with USD 234 million.

The richest Macedonian non-resident is Mike Ilitch, founder of the fast food franchise Little Caesars Pizza and owner of Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Tigers, with USD 6.1 billion.


The richest people in Bosnia and Herzegovina are Kenan and Damir Hastor, who have inherited Prevet and ASA Group from their father Nijaz, and who have USD 412 million. They are followed by Izudin Ahmetlic, owner of HIFA Group, with USD 364 million.

Finally, the richest man in Montenegro is Thaksin Shinawatra, former prime minister of Thailand, who lives and works in Montenegro, with USD 1.61 billion. The family of former prime minister Milo Djukanovic is in the second place with USD 167 million, but, as Forbes says, there are no data about their wealth.
