Current year to be record breaking for Impol Seval – Company announces EUR 37.5 million of investments in 2017

The year 2016 will be the most successful year in the history of the aluminum rolling factory Impol Seval so far, says Director Ninko Tesic.

– We had good results last year, with 51,000 tons produced at full capacity and a profit of EUR 7.5 million. In the first nine months of the current year, we managed to produce at the planned physical capacity, and the financial results considerably exceeded our plans – Tesic said and added that most of the planned investments would be realized using the company’s own assets.

He added that Impol Seval had adopted the strategy until 2025 with planned investments of EUR 59 million, the majority of which should be realized in 2017 (EUR 37.5 million). Tesic announced the capacity of 95-100,000 tons for 2022.

– Since 2002, we have invested EUR 78.5 million in more than 196 projects, all to the end of revitalizing and modernizing the factory. We have increased the cold rolling production from 13,500 to 51,000 tons – he said.

Jernej Cokl, President of the Management Board of Impol Seval, announced that the entire system of Slovenia’s Impol expected to produce 220,000 tons in the current year and noted that a profit of EUR 30 million had been made in the first nine months. He stated that the group planned to have revenues of EUR 1.1 billion before 2025 and to focus on the automotive industry, Wisebroker reports.
