Nectar exports around EUR 36 million annually – Penetration of new markets following Africa and Asia

The company Nectar will soon penetrate new markets, following the penetration of the markets of Africa, Asia and former Soviet republics, announced the representatives of the company at the International Food Exhibit SIAL 2016 in Paris.

– At the previous SIAL, we opened some new markets, above all in Africa and Asia, but also some markets in the former Soviet republics, so we are continuing to work in those markets and finding new ones in order to increase our presence – said the general manager of the Nectar Group, Mihailo Jankovic.

He expects that the positions would be fortified in 2016 and that the company would enter new markets.

The complete portfolio of the Nectar Group was presented, i.e. finished Nectar products and finished food and drink products of Fructal.


– We also offer semi-products, pulps and concentrates. This is a segment we pay great attention to – Jankovic points out.

– The Nectar Group has capacities for processing 120 thousand tons of fruit per season, that is, annually, so that’s the segment we wish to improve and to also examine its potential at this fair – Jankovic said and pointed out that the annual export amounted to EUR 36 million.
