Comtrade gets ISO certificate for medical software in Ireland

Comtrade has received the ISO certificate as a developer of software solutions in the area of medicine in Ireland, reports Telegraf.rs.

This would enable the biggest IT company in Southeast Europe to achieve a growth of 25% from 2016 till 2020 in the country, the portal reports and adds that the said market in Ireland is worth EUR 12.6 billion.

Comtrade Digital Services is a part of Comtrade Group, which operates in Ireland, Great Britain, USA, Germany, Austria and Slovenia, as well as in Serbia.

The ISO 13485 certificate enables this company to present software solutions in the medical market which will step up innovations and facilitate the industry's digital transformation.

– Comtrade Digital Services will contribute to reducing expenses and the time needed for certain things in medicine, which will help Irish producers of medical devices to compete in the global market with more affordable, revolutionary devices – stated the director of Comtrade Digital Services in Ireland and Great Britain, Dejan Cusic.

Comtrade's team of engineers in Ireland is currently developing software solutions which will be important for advanced portable devices and in-vitro diagnostics, but also for laparoscopic surgery and pacemakers.
