Vojvodjanska Banka opposes sale of Brodogradiliste Begej property

Vojvodjanska Banka will vote against the adoption of the offer for the sale of the property belonging to Brodogradiliste Begej, the bank reported. However, the report adds, the final decision depends on other members of the Board of Creditors.

– We are witnessing the recent media allegations about the potential sale of the property of Brodogradiliste Begej d.o.o. in bankruptcy at a very low price which amounts to 3.3% of the estimated value, as well as insinuations that Vojvodjanska Banka is “responsible” for this sale – the bank adds.

As the bank says, the first sale through a direct agreement through a public collection of bids and the possibility of improving bids following the public opening was held on September 14. Only one bid was submitted, offering the amount of RSD 21 million.

In accordance with the Law on Bankruptcy Procedure, the Board of Creditors is authorized to reach the decision on accepting or declining the offer. Vojvodjanska Banka is only one member of the Board of Creditors, in addition to the Tax Administration, the City of Zrenjanin, the Directorate for Construction and Development of the City of Zrenjanin and representatives of the employees.
